第三天

Gabriel, KTJ, Colin, 以及Scott 已經為了往東的旅程做好最後的準備, 對於明天大家都能夠一起離開感到欣喜。手中有著所有必須的許可證, 他們將先到達東部的樞紐城市Abeche; 接著往下前進至Goz Beida, 一個非常靠近兩個重要難民營的城市。小組將用下個星期大部分的時間,在兩個難民營中聆聽他們的故事,一起踢足球,並且建立起新的友誼。 稍晚, 該小組拜訪了聯合國難民救濟總署在N’Djamena的對外關係高級官員Ann。在過去兩年間, Ann與i-ACT團隊合作相當密切; 她深入分析當前在難民營的情況, 難民人數的增加,以及國際社會給予的穩定支持。她也回憶起, 二月發生的流產政變期間獨自在家的經驗, 以及事件結束之後對她個人以及難民營所帶來的衝擊。最後, 從她個人觀點來說, 她提到工作上的挫折感, 但是, 希望也同時伴隨著該組織的工作。

第二天 : 等待

這一刻,大隊身在乍得的首都,離開達富爾人的難民營數百哩。Scott, Colin Gabriel 與 KTJ 遇到幾個障礙,包括遲來的許可證,錯過一班東去的航機,在Le Meridien 找不到安身之所和延誤多時都未能上載第一天的影片。此刻大隊已重新組合並等待UNHCR 給他們提供關於旅程的消息和東面的狀況。當大家在N’Djamena 耐心的等候時,其實心裏都惦記着那些難民朋友。到達Shallah 時,大伙將很快與那些難民朋友重遇。我們希望我們的行動可以引起世人的關注,並為暫居在乍得,或仍然身在達富爾的達富爾人的安全带來保障。。每天都有無辜者被殺害,國際社會必須採取更多行動去保證每一個人的生存權,並提供相應的保護。 i-ACT5第二天的影片包括: 不論慘劇發生在那裏,防止種族滅絕,集體屠殺,種族清洗,戰爭罪行和任何違反人權罪行是國際共識,預防和面對嚴重危機是各國政府無可避免的責任。在 2005 年,各國領袖首次同意: 保護境內任何國民是一個國家的首要責任。如有國家無法保護境內的任何國民,國際社會有責任採取行動。 國家主權與責任是應運而生的,國家責任就是要為國民提供應有的保護。若有任何國民因內戰,暴動,壓制行為或政府失控而受到嚴重的傷害,該國政府又無法或不情願去終止動亂,國際社會不干涉各國內政的慣例就應該讓路給國際責任去保護該國的國民。
