Connie’s Responses to Comments, Day 10

Connie replies to Tere, Mimi Schiff, Zahara, Lisa, Wally, Mimish, Rachel, her mom, Mary Ann and Pam.

Hola Tere,
Thanks for writing; it was the best feeling to come back from the camps and read your posts it was a trying experience and your support made it lighter. And yes there is much work ahead of us. But we have a great family here and there and together we will do the best. Amor y Paz.

Hi Mimi Schiff,
Thank you for the last 10 days! Without you this journey would not have been as rich and enlightening. Every one who participated made it a success. We came to voice your message and also we are returning with the message from the people of Darfur. The tricky thing now is do we hear it, and what are we going to do about it?

Hola Zaharita,
Gracias por escribirnos,A mi me daba muchisimo gusto leer todos tus comentarios esta experiencia fue un reto incredible y hubiera sido mucho mas dificil sin tu ayuda.Gracias,y ya sabes Amour y Paz.

Dear Lisa,
Although Yuen Lin has been working nonstop it is Gabriel who does the editing and puts the whole web cast together with still photos and sometimes music. I will ask somebody to put together all of the credits so that you know exactly who is doing what, there are many people involved in getting this project to you.
Now is the real hard work, without the adrenaline and the emotional day-to-day encounters. Coming home and looking for the best ways to maintaining contact with our friends, finding immediate solutions to their immediate problems and also doing our most to making awareness possible so as to grow in numbers and demand from our leaders the safe return of all refugees to Darfur. And we will definitely be looking for you help! Amor y Paz, Connie.

Dear Wally,
It is very sad to see how humans can live a not so human existence. But even then they try their best to be happy, smile and love each other we witnessed this. So also we must try to live in the most joyful way we can so that by example we can help them. Thank you so very much for keeping us company! It was a great trip and you made the experience stronger! I miss you and love you dearly. Take care and see you soon. Amor y Paz, Connie.

Hola Mimish,
Yes Mimi the commitment is stronger so the work gets harder! See you soon. Amor y Paz, Connie.

Hey Rach,
Yes the visit with Ahmat’s grandmother was emotional but hopefully we will be able to someway send news to him and also find out how he is doing. Thanks for your support you energized our trip and helped so much to bring the project to every soon. Amor y Paz, Connie.

Gracias Mam,
Pronto nos veremos.Deseamos igual que tu la ayuda necesaria le llegue a toda esta gente tan sufrida. Amor y Paz, Cany

Thank you Mary Ann,
Without you watching, supporting and your activism our work is meaningless. We can only hope we have moves many more so that all of our efforts bring much success to the people of Darfur.Amor y Paz, Connie

Hi Pam,
Gabriel did incredible editing! Yuen Lin well the best tech guy! And you also contributed to our success! Thank you for making this a complete and incredible experience. Amor y Paz, Connie
