i-ACT has teamed with the Enough Project, Humanity United and 75 other international human rights groups to demand the United States pursue a new approach to achieving peace in Sudan and South Sudan.

The letter, sent to Secretary of State John Kerry, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power and National Security Advisor Susan Rice, lays out new policy priorities and crucial initiatives to address the conflict and violence ravaging both countries. The coalition, which represents thousands of supporters across the United States, Sudan and South Sudan, also sent a memo to the U.S. Congress calling for greater focus on accountability, diplomacy, democracy promotion and humanitarian aid.

Those of you who followed Darfur United at the ConIFA World Cup and support the Little Ripples have met and seen the faces of the people affected by this violence. Together, we can raise our voices to ensure our governments and international bodies do all they can to end the brutal fighting destroying our friends’ homes.
