Obama Administration: Implement Sudan Policy of Benchmarks, Incentives, and Consequences

U.S. Sudan policy is AWOL. In October 2009, Secretary Clinton and Ambassador Rice rolled out a new U.S. Sudan policy based on benchmarks and decisive action, including pressures and consequences on those obstructing peace and justice. Regrettably, the Obama administration has abandoned its own policy at a crucial time in Sudan’s history. The Enough Project has laid out a clear and precise analysis of What’s Wrong With U.S. Policy Towards Sudan, And How To Fix It.

Ask the Obama Administration to implement its Sudan Policy! Please do one or more of these quick actions:

  1. E-mail President Obama, sharing what the Enough Project has determined must happen to fix U.S. Sudan policy, bring peace and justice in Darfur, and avert all-out war in 2011.
  2. Post on White House Facebook page (you have to “like” the page then you can post a comment): Obama administration, fix U.S. AWOL Sudan policy. Implement your policy of benchmarks, incentives, and consequences–now! http://bit.ly/9IHrF8
  3. Tweet Action: Pls RT! @WhiteHouse, fix US AWOL #Sudan policy. Implement your policy of benchmarks, incentives, and consequences–now! http://bit.ly/a00Hcj
