I was not aware of any Cambodians living in Laos except those who worked in diplomatic fields. The Cambodian genocide happened because of the US involvement in the Vietnam War. Have you considered going back home and helping your own people. Don't let the left keep you form helping there, there track record on human rights has been looser.
